First home buyers are being knocked out of a red-hot housing market by investors

New CoreLogic data shows mortgaged investors had a 30 percent share of January's sales - while first home buyers dropped to a three-year low of 22 percent.
Property Investors Federation executive officer Sharon Cullwick says they do have it tough, but investors can't take all the blame.

Cullwick says the Reserve Bank's higher deposits for investors will slow the market down.
