The space and satellite launch company is set to be publicly listed on the US Nasdaq stock exchange, in a deal valued at nearly six-billion dollars.
Talks about merging with special-purpose acquisition company Vector could be finalised in 24 hours.
JMI Wealth Director Andrew Kelleher says they've also announced a new rocket.
He says the company believes the Neutron will be able to lift 98 per cent of satellites until 2029.
Rocketlab has launched nearly 100 satellites from Hawke's Bay's Mahia Peninsula.
