    A Christchurch man accused of stabbing one person and robbing another -- has appeared in court

    A Christchurch man accused of stabbing one person and robbing another -- has appeared in court


    The 31-year-old with interim name suppression -- was arrested after a two-hour stand off with armed police last night.

    He appeared at Christchurch District Court, charged with four counts of aggravated robbery and one count of assaulting police.

    He's been remanded in custody, without a plea -- until next week.
