A fire at a scrap metal yard in Auckland's Papakura is under control

Fire crews were alerted to the blaze just before midday on Hunua Road, in a building where a car-crushing machine is housed.

The fire was well involved when crews arrived but no injuries had been reported.

There was a blaze at the same yard in mid-January.
