9 April 2021
Late last month, Customs intercepted a package at the International Mail Centre in Auckland with 1.5-kilograms of liquid cocaine inside.
Police raided a Christchurch house on Wednesday and found cocaine and a significant amount of cash.
A 76-year-old man was arrested and charged with importing a Class A controlled drug and possession of cocaine for supply.
A 25-year-old woman was then arrested yesterday and also charged with importing cocaine.
Both will appear in court later this month.
