    Taupo's mayor is looking forward to seeing bookings from Australia, come to fruition

    The trans-Tasman bubble is up and running - allowing quarantine-free travel between our two countries.

    David Trewavas says announcement of the bubble, sparked a positive vibe in the market.

    He says the higher-end operators who have pretty much been in drought since lockdown, are starting to receive some bookings.
