    The United States is set to close its borders to India, in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis unfolding there


    US President Joe Biden is expected to impose new travel restrictions on India starting on Tuesday.

    It will mean most non-US citizens who have been in India - within the last 14 days cannot travel to the United States.

    India has reported more than 300,000 new cases daily for nine days in a row, hitting a global record.
