The propose layout changes to Auckland's Queen Street has hit another bump in the road

The council's been trying to make the thoroughfare more people-friendly, by widening footpaths and adding public spaces.

The Save the Queen Street incorporated society has filed for an injunction to halt a new 1.1 million dollar makeover.

Now National Road Carriers Association's Chris Carr says these changes would have a significant impact on freight and courier deliveries.

He says it would create situations were there isn't enough room for people to deliver.
