    Police are appealing for assistance after a hit and run in Nelson yesterday


    They were notified a vehicle had fled after a collision on Emano Street, about 7am.

    One person was taken to hospital with moderate injuries.

    Police want to speak to anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed anything.
