The latest Ministry of Health research from April shows 77 per cent of us are likely to get the vaccine, or have got it already.
That's up from 69 per cent in March.
The number of people unlikely to get vaccinated dropped to 12 per cent -- down from 20 per cent in March.
Auckland University vaccinologist Helen Petousis-Harris says when people have hesitancy, it's usually around safety.
She says one of the important things to focus on, is to show people how safe the vaccine is.
