A Kiwi medical charity is raising money for a dog which can sniff out early signs of ovarian cancer.
Once trained, it's able to smell urine to determine whether a person may have the disease - they can then be referred for other forms of testing.
Canine Medical Detection Founder Pauline Blomfield says New Zealand is in dire need of a reliable testing service.
She says a woman dies every 48 hours from ovarian cancer here.
