There's been an armed robbery at a house in Hamilton's Frankton

Police say two men pulled out a gun and demanded money in the Maitland Street property about 10am.

No shots were fired and the person at the house was not injured.

The men fled on foot with several items.

Police say they're following strong lines of enquiry and don't believe the public need be concerned.

Anyone who noticed suspicious behaviour in the area today is urged to call 105 .
