Steven Adams' NBA franchise is looking for a new coach

The New Orleans Pelicans have dumped Stan van Gundy after one year, which saw the side miss the play-offs.

The Pelicans have described his departure as a mutual agreement after he coached them to a 31-41 win-loss record.

Steven Adams joined the franchise before the start of the NBA season after being traded last November, signing a two-year deal.
