Lenny Kravitz is missing his beloved dog "deeply"

The 57-year-old music star has taken to Instagram to lavish praise on his pet pooch Leroy Brown, who recently passed away

Alongside a series of throwback photos of Leroy, Lenny - who has another dog called JoJo Dancer - wrote: "Leroy Brown 2009-2021. Thank you for sharing your life with me. You blessed me with unconditional love while watching me go through it all. You were next to me during my best and my worst. We circled the globe over and over together, teaching each other what we could. You were the best. A true Bahamian Potcake. Jojo and I are missing you deeply. (sic)"

Lenny's post prompted a string of sympathetic and supportive responses from a number of his celebrity pals, including Seth Green and Jason Momoa, both of whom replied with heart emojis.

Pop star Kelly Rowland also expressed her sympathy with a prayer emoji, while Evan Ross simply said: "Love u brother (sic)"

Meanwhile, Lenny recently insisted he's had good habits for looking after himself, both inside and out, since he was a teenager.

The 'Fly Away’ hitmaker explained that he's always taken good care of himself, regardless of any troubles he's faced in his personal life.

Lenny - who was previously married to actress Lisa Bonet - shared: "Overall, I’m very natural. It started when I was in high school, taking care of my body, eating organically.

"This then got me into taking care of the exterior as well as the interior.

"Exercising and working out and keeping all of your body parts in good form and health.

"Then it evolved into putting natural things on your skin and your face, your body, your hair."
