The Black Caps have beaten India by eight wickets to win the inaugural World Test Championship.
The team chased down India's target of 139 with seven point one overs to spare.
They were guided over the line by Captain Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor -- who were 52 and 47 not out respectively.
National's Chris Bishop says he stayed up all night to watch them take the win.
He says there aren't many opportunities to see this side win a world championship -- so you have to see it through to the end.
