The All Blacks have wrapped up their on-field preparations for their first test of 2021

The All Blacks have wrapped up their on-field preparations for their first test of 2021

The side has had their captain's run at Mount Smart Stadium ahead of the match against Tonga tomorrow night.

The Chad Townsend-Kodi Nikorima halves combination will make its NRL debut tonight when the Warriors go up against the Dragons in Gosford.

Townsend, a former Sharks player, has signed a contract with the Kiwi club for the remainder of the season.

New Zealand athletics veteran Nick Willis will compete in a record fifth Olympic Games, after making the cut for his event by the slimmest possible margin.

Only the fastest 45 runners in the 1500 metres are able to take part in Tokyo, and before this week, Willis was ranked 47th and wasn't fast enough to qualify automatically.

But he's now made the cut . with two higher-ranking runners pulling out to compete in different distances.
