Transfers for 13 patients with Buller Health forced to close by the weekend's flooding

They've been moved to Te Nikau and Grey Hospital and Health Centre.

Additional staff have been sent from Canterbury to Greymouth Hospital.

West Coast DHB incident controller - Doctor Graham Roper - says some patients transferred to Te Nikau were able to return home.

Buller Health plans to reopen on Monday.
