A woman has died from her injuries received during a serious crash in east Auckland

The woman died in Auckland City Hospital overnight -- after being critically injured in a crash in Maraetai on Wednesday afternoon.

Another person, who was also critically injured, remains in a stable condition in Middlemore Hospital.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.

They want to speak to anyone who saw the crash, involving a blue Subaru, on Maraetai Drive about 2.20pm on Wednesday.

They're also appealing for any sightings of the blue Subaru before the crash.
