Lachlan Swinton has been called in at blindside, moving Rob Valetini to number eight with captain Michael Hooper retained at openside.
Coach Dave Rennie says they were dominated in the collisions last week, and is calling on his players to get in the All Blacks' faces.
Meanwhile, TJ Perenara has been named on the bench for his first top-level match since returning from Japan.
All Blacks coach Ian Foster says it's a good chance to get Perenara back in the mix.
From the north to the deep south for Kate Burley.
Less than a week after winning the ANZ Premiership with the Northern Mystics and being named in the Silver Ferns development squad, Burley has signed with the Southern Steel for next year's domestic competition.
She joins returning defenders Te Huinga Reo Selby-Rickit and Sarahphienna Woulf .
