The Herald reports the 26-year-old Chiefs playmaker is off contract with New Zealand Rugby at the end of this season, and has signed a five-month deal to link with Suntory at the completion of the All Blacks' northern tour.
The tension's building for golfer Ryan Fox to retain his European Tour card sooner rather than later.
Fox is not in danger of missing out at this point if he plays the full season, but he's hoping to earn enough points by next month so he can take up a managed isolation spot he has booked.
Otherwise Fox is resigned to probably being in the UK for Christmas.
From the big smoke to the deep south for Kate Burley.
The 24-year-old Mystics netballer has signed with the Steel in the defensive circle.
Burley's packed some achievements into the last week, helping win the ANZ Premiership and being named in the Silver Ferns development squad.
She's moving, given the prospect of fellow defenders Phoenix Karaka and Michaela Sokolich-Beatson returning to the Mystics next season.
