The Kiwi sailors have secured two podiums on the first day, with finishes of third, sixth and second in the opening three races.
They sit fifth in the standings with 14 points, just four off leaders Australia
Blair Tuke says training and day one in Denmark have gone well.
New Zealand was docked two points in the final race after colliding with the French crew.
There's two more fleet races to go.
