Permitted workers crossing in and out of Auckland have one week to get a Covid-19 test

The roughly three-thousand workers who cross the boundaries every day must have had a swab before 11.59pm next Thursday.
From then on, they'll need to get tested weekly.
Police will be conducting spot checks at their 10 checkpoints -- and health officials are finalising how proof of testing will be provided.
The Health Ministry says it's finalising a contract with a saliva testing provider so it can replace nasal swabs in coming weeks.
