Nurses are accusing Auckland DHB of playing "Russian roulette" with patient safety by allowing up to 600 daily hospital visitors during the Delta outbreak

The claims include reports of one patient having sex in a shared room.
The allegations come as WorkSafe issued an improvement notice, forcing the Auckland DHB to engage with its health and safety representatives.
Our newsroom can reveal the Nurses Organisation has written to health boss Ashley Bloomfield, flagging a number of alarming visitor policy breaches at the DHB.
They include people turning up in groups and refusing to wear masks.
