JMI Wealth director Andrew Kelleher says it's hard to call, and there's a range of forecasts, but he's predicting 1.4 percent.
He says the first quarter was 1.6, meaning there could be three percent growth in the first half of the year.
Kelleher says there's been big contributions from retail, manufacturing, the services sector and construction.
He says residential construction has a flow-on effect because people have to go out and buy household and landscaping goods.
Kelleher says wage growth has also helped.
