Argentina captain and usual 10 Nicolas Sanchez missed last night's 36-13 defeat in Brisbane due to an ankle injury, opening the door for Santiago Carreras to start for the first time in his test career.
Ledesma says the 23-year-old had a great week of preparation.
Argentina remain winless in the Rugby Championship, rooted at the bottom of the table.
By contrast the All Blacks are on top with a 10-point buffer, as well as the title of the world's best side to boast.
They've overtaken South Africa in the world rankings who lost for a second successive week to the Wallabies 30-17.
