Christchurch Police are investigating reports two men are going door-to-door offering Covid vaccines for a fee

Christchurch Police are investigating reports two men are going door-to-door offering Covid vaccines for a fee

The men, wearing suits, and carrying fake Ministry of Health business cards, have been door-knocking in the suburb of Addington over the weekend.

They are offering jabs for 100-dollars to cover the call-out fee and petrol.

The Ministry's warning anyone trying to charge for vaccinations, or arriving unannounced is a scam.

All appointments for the vaccine are free - including those that are home-based.

Police advise anyone approached in this manner to call the non-emergency number on 105 immediately.
