Wellington cricketer Logan van Beek hopes the worst of his brush with Covid-19 is over, as he prepares to represent the Netherlands at next month's Twenty20 World Cup

Wellington cricketer Logan van Beek hopes the worst of his brush with Covid-19 is over, as he prepares to represent the Netherlands at next month's Twenty20 World Cup

The pace bowler's revealed he and a handful of Derbyshire teammates caught the virus during the UK's T20 domestic competition in July.

The 31-year-old says he'd only had one vaccination dose at the time of infection.

Van Beek's also battling the MIQ allocation lolly scramble to try to return in time for the provincial summer.
