Rebecca Wright-Meldrum and David Peter Hawken deny murdering Angela Blackmoore in 1995.
The 21-year-old mother was pregnant when she was stabbed to death while her two-year-old slept.
The pair were due to stand trial in February last year, but it was rescheduled to go ahead at the High Court in Christchurch in November.
However at a brief administrative hearing this morning, a firm date for the trial was set down for May 2023.
