New Zealand Cricket's outlined its priorities ahead of the 2021/2022 domestic season

The Auckland and Northern Districts men's and women's sides will miss the opening rounds of the season due to Covid alert level lockdowns.
NZC cricket operations general manager Catherine Campbell says they want to protect the Plunket Shield and Super Smash competitions.
The summer gets underway on October 23, with reigning Plunket Shield champions Canterbury hosting the Central Stags at Hagley Oval.
