Secondary Principals Association of New Zealand president Vaughan Couillault says many students are finding lockdown challenging.
He says most students prefer and realise the value of face-to-face learning and are keen to get back to school - particularly students with NCEA externals coming up.
Couillault says the most anxious are students with a a significant workload for external exams.
