Four Auckland City District staff are self-isolating after dealing with a covid positive woman on Tuesday, with one testing positive last night.
Police were called to Miro Road in Greenlane on Tuesday afternoon, responding to reports of concern for a woman's welfare.
She was taken to Auckland Hospital for a mental health assessment and later returned a positive covid test.
The four officers involved were stood down the same day to be tested ... and are self-isolating for 14 days as a precaution.
The officers were fully-vaccinated but enquiries are underway into the extent of PPE use.
