All Whites coach Danny Hay believes the Oly Whites' Tokyo Olympics performance has laid the groundwork for success at the FIFA World Cup

As part of their route to hopeful qualification for next year's tournament, New Zealand are set for two more internationals next month following wins over Curacao and Bahrain.

Hay says the Oly Whites' quarterfinal appearance will inspire success into the future.
