    Close to ten-thousand vehicles have been turned away from Covid border checkpoints

    Close to ten-thousand vehicles have been turned away from Covid border checkpoints .. .out of almost 800-thousand vehicles stopped at Auckland's northern and southern boundaries


    Yesterday, 167 vehicles were turned around.

    Nearly 46-thousand heavy vehicles have been stopped and one-thousand-264 turned around.

    Since Alert Level 3 came in, 28 people have been charged - most for failing to comply with a Covid-19 order.

    29 people have been formally warned.
