The CEO of the Tai Tokerau Border Control says today's so called " Hikoi of Truth" is a march to nowhere

The CEO of the Tai Tokerau Border Control says today's so called " Hikoi of Truth" is a march to nowhere

The group tried to breach Auckland's southern border to get through to Waitangi, using two vehicles to block the road at Mercer.

A group also gathered for a time at the northern Border at Te Hana.

Hone Harawira says the group has no right to go to the Far North - and has been duped by right wing antivaxxers.

Harawira says they haven't been invited by the Waitangi Marae committee or Treaty grounds.
