There's no shortage of physicality in the opening half between the All Blacks and Ireland in Dublin.

Heading towards the break Ireland lead five points to three.

The Black Ferns have suffered yet another defeat, losing to France 38-13 in Pau.

Waikato are through to the NPC Premiership final after toppling Canterbury 17-14 in their semi-final in Rotorua.

Earlier Tasman overcame Hawke's Bay 33-27 in a clash for the ages, to advance to the premiership final.

Mitch Hunt's boot slotted a penalty goal minutes out from fulltime to hand the Mako a six point lead.

Tasman were then forced to defend their goal line in added time as Hawke's Bay sent waves of attack, but held on for victory in Napier.

Tasman co-captain Quinten Strange told Sky Sport it took a monumental effort from them.

    That's news and sport.
