France have bettered the All Blacks in a scintillating test match in Paris, winning 40-25.
The hosts opened up a 24-6 halftime lead with three tries in the first 40 minutes.
The New Zealand men crossed for three tries of their own to open the second half and draw within two points.
But a 72nd minute intercept score to French winger Damian Penaud all but confirmed the hosts' victory.
It's the first time since 2009 the All Blacks have lost three tests in a calendar year.
Our newsroom have got the brain juices going to work out the last time the All Blacks lost two tests on their northern tour, and we can safely say it hasn't happened this century.
At the end of 2002 the All Blacks lost to England and drew with France.
