Prop Ray McLoughlin, who captained his country seven times and twice toured New Zealand with the British and Irish Lions has died at age 83.
McLoughlin broke his thumb in a fiery tour match against Canterbury in 1971, denying him the chance to play the tests that tour.
He was also a member of the 1973 Barbarians side in which Gareth Edwards famously scored an incredible try in Cardiff.
