A welcome change to World Rugby's eligibility laws for All Black great and former Manu Samoa coach Sir Bryan Williams

Members have voted in a move which allows players who serve a three-year stand down to switch allegiance to the country in which they were born, or have a parent or grandparent from that country.
Williams believed the odds were stacked against the proposal.
The likes of Charles Piutau, Lima Sopoaga and Steven Luatua could represent Tonga or Samoa respectively when the rule becomes law on January 1.
