A new Covid-19 variant is likely to have an impact on our share market once it resumes at 10am

A new Covid-19 variant is likely to have an impact on our share market once it resumes at 10am

Since news broke of the new Omicron variant late last week, sparking falls on international markets.

Craigs Investment Partners Head of Private Wealth Research, Mark Lister, says it's going to be something for New Zealand investors to watch.

He believes it'll be a down day for the share market, as people will be trading cautiously.

But at the same time, Lister doesn't think the markets are going to fall off a cliff.
