    A pedestrian has been seriously injured in Hamilton


    Police say they were notified of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Maitland Street, in Frankton, about 8pm.

    Three ambulances attended and took one person to Waikato Hospital.

    The road was closed for a short time.
