Injuries and Covid-19 cases will see a patched-up Breakers limp into their opening game of the Australian NBL season tonight

Coach Dan Shamir along with a number of players are sidelined for the game against South East Melbourne Phoenix due to the Covid-19 outbreak that's rattled camp.

Guard William McDowell-White says it's hard to prepare for what they've faced over the last couple of weeks.

    Tip-off is at 10pm.
