Aussie paceman snared four wickets for 36 as England were bowled out for 294 early in the day, a deficit of 122.
Warner fell for three, with England's Mark Wood, bowling with a bloody knee after landing on the pitch, found Warner's edge with a delivery on a pinpoint length.
