    A drilling rig is due to arrive in Admiralty Bay in the Marlborough Sounds this week


    The rig ill be used by Maui gas field operator OMV to carry out development drilling off the Taranaki coast.

    It's likely to stay in the Marlborough Sounds for a couple of days, before heading north.

    Officials say they'll issue a warning to boaties for reduced manoeuvrability, while the rig is moved through the Cook Strait.
