    Top seed Ash Barty's expecting to face her first real test at the Australian Open when she faces Italian Camila Giorgi tonight


    The world number one's bidding to become the first home-grown champion in Melbourne since 1978.

    Naomi Osaka and Rafael Nadal are also in action tonight.

    Earlier today Victoria Azarenka booked her spot in the fourth round with a convincing straight sets win over Elina Svitolina.



    The Wellington Phoenix women take on Adelaide in the A-League tonight, kicking off at 8:35pm.

    The men host Western United at 9:45 in Wollongong.



    Snowboarder Zoi Sadowski-Synnott is gearing up for her penultimate competition this weekend before heading to the Winter Olympics.

    The X-Games in Aspen will double as a tune up for the Beijing Games.

    Sadowski-Synnott is the reigning world champion in Slopestyle, and her coach Sean Thompson says she's in top shape ahead of competing tomorrow morning.
