    Human remains -- believed to be those of missing man Kukama Waa -- have been found by his whanau in the bush in Pipiwai, Northland

    Human remains -- believed to be those of missing man Kukama Waa -- have been found by his whanau in the bush in Pipiwai, Northland


    Despite the formal search ending on January 21 -- Waa's family continued looking for him.

    The remains have not yet been formally identified, but Police can confirm they are in an area near where Waa was missing.
