Golfer Ryan Fox will embark on what could be a nearly three-month European Tour break, knowing the pressure is off when he returns

His win at the Ras Al Khaimah Classic has rocketed him to eighth in the standings and secures his card until the end of 2024.

Uncertainty around tournaments scheduled for Japan and China in April means if they don't go ahead Fox's next event will be the British Masters in May.

Meanwhile, compatriot Ben Campbell will tee up at the 150th British Open at St Andrews.

He finished second at the Vic Open in Melbourne to earn one of the three qualifying spots allocated.
