A number of Auckland schools are keeping students home for part of the week as staff numbers dwindle due to Covid-19

Last Thursday, there were 320 education facilities dealing with active Covid cases, 177 in Auckland alone.
Starting Wednesday, years nine to 12 students at Western Springs College will take turns distance learning from home.
Rolling distance learning for senior students at Pukekohe High begins tomorrow.
Tamaki College has moved to online learning until the end of this week.
Year 13s at St Kentigern College were sent home for a week last week and it's understood Kings College has sent students home Friday and today.
