    Another lengthy overseas campaign beckons for Tom Walsh


    The sometime-carpenter from Timaru is off to Serbia today where he'll try to make it three World Indoor shot put titles in a row.

    Walsh is coming off his 13th national championship victory, throwing 21.55 metres to beat Auckland's Jacko Gill in Hastings.

    But Walsh says he does his best work offshore - and he's got some distance to go before hitting that magical 22 metre mark.
