    The Wellington Phoenix hope the end of the A-League season is pushed back if they face any more match cancellations


    The side's now playing catch-up after two washed out games, with the team expecting an average of three matches per week next month, to fulfil the fixture list.

    Coach Ufuk Talay says extending the season by a week would help immensely.



    The Phoenix meet Newcastle in Gosford tomorrow for their first match in 17 days.
