Bryony Botha has become the third fastest female pursuiter in history after another record breaking effort at the Cycling New Zealand national track championships in Cambridge

The 24-year-old smashed her three minute and 21 second record for the 3000 metres set in qualifying last night, clocking three minutes and 19 seconds in this afternoon's final.
Only two women have gone faster in world record holder Chloe Dygert of the USA and German world champion Lisa Bennauer.
